Are ghosts 👻 real?

I went to my grandma's house last month after 18 years. I have found everything has changed almost except for a few things. The kids who played with me then, have their own kids now, my cousins who have been pretty young then are engaged in rearing children, even I have two daughters. Everything, everything has changed except some beliefs...... ghosts 👻. I still remember the day when I was 18 years younger, sleeping on my grandma's caught, woke up in the morning with a loud noiseof people. I was kinda surprised cos usually my grandma's house is normally very serene. When enquired, I came to know that on of our neighbors had been possessed by ghosts. She was thrown in the nearby pond, with lots of mud in her mouth. Then a man was called who could talk to the spirits and could negotiate the way of salvation and it was decided that some kilograms of sweets and a posh jewelry would be needed for her to get rescued. Finally after the whole day's chaos, she got back to normal. Now this time as I already told some things hasn't changed has a connection to that very incident. Daughter of that lady is married to my cousin's brother in law who is a bit dark. Anyway, he has two more brothers. Recently, they, I mean the three brothers, have gone to a shop to buy sweets to take to a relative's house. It has been evening and a small boy also comes to the same shop coincidentally for sweets. When they are about to take the packet of sweets from the shopkeeper, the small boy wants to take the black sweet, popularly known as Chamcham, packet and when denied he gets a bit angry and leave the place saying he will look into the matter. Things go well till night but when the brothers returns home at night, the youngest brother's wife, who is fair, sits besides her husband, who is a bit dark and asks about the relative's hare about. All on a sudden, she is shaken a bit and shares that she wants to go to sleep. Everyone is surprised but since it has been a long day no one says anything rather everyone prepares to go to sleep. The youngest brother calls my cousin in a dilemma and when she goes in the room, findsher brother in law smeared with spit thrown by her wife. Do ghosts 👻 exist?
