An Old Mansion (Ghost 2)
In the small town of Millfield, there was an old
mansion that had been abandoned for years. It was a creepy-looking place, with
overgrown gardens, boarded-up windows, and an air of foreboding. Many people
believed that it was cursed, and that no one who entered would ever return.
But one day, a group of teenagers decided to explore
the mansion, thinking it would be a thrilling adventure. They snuck into the
grounds at night, and made their way through the gardens, feeling a sense of
excitement as they approached the mansion.
As they pushed open the front door, they were hit by a
wave of musty air. The place was a mess, with cobwebs and dust covering every
surface. The teenagers giggled nervously, thinking that they had outsmarted the
curse.
But then, strange things started to happen. Doors
would slam shut on their own, and they could hear footsteps echoing through the
empty halls. They tried to ignore it, telling themselves that it was just the
wind or their imagination.
As they made their way deeper into the mansion, they
found a locked room. It was old and rusty, and they were curious about what was
inside. They tried to force it open, but it wouldn't budge.
Suddenly, they heard a voice. It was a whisper, so
quiet that they could barely make out the words. But it was definitely there,
and it seemed to be coming from inside the locked room.
The teenagers were freaked out, but also excited. They
were convinced that they had stumbled upon something mysterious and exciting.
They decided to come back the next night, better prepared with tools to force
the door open.
That night, they returned to the mansion, their hearts
pounding with excitement. They managed to force the door open, and they found a
small, dark room. It was empty, except for a single book on a pedestal in the
center of the room.
The book was old and tattered, with strange symbols on
the cover. The teenagers were hesitant, but also intrigued. They opened the
book, and started to read the ancient text inside.
At first, it was just gibberish. But then, the words
started to make sense. The teenagers realized that they were reading a spell -
a spell that promised power and knowledge beyond their wildest dreams.
They were hesitant, but also curious. They decided to
cast the spell, thinking that it was just a silly game. They didn't believe
that anything would happen.
But something did happen. The ground shook, and the
mansion seemed to come alive. The teenagers were thrown to the ground, and they
could feel a cold wind blowing through the room.
And then, they heard it. A low, rumbling growl, coming
from the darkness. They scrambled to their feet, but it was too late. The door
slammed shut, and they were trapped.
The growling grew louder, and the teenagers could see
glowing eyes coming towards them from the darkness. They tried to run, but it
was no use. The curse had caught up to them.
The next day, the police found the mansion empty.
There was no sign of the teenagers, and no one had heard from them since the
night they had cast the spell.
But some say that the mansion is not truly empty. They
say that at night, you can hear strange noises coming from inside. And if you
listen closely, you can hear the whispers of the curse, warning you to stay
away.
